7 Reasons Why Publer is My Favourite Social Media Scheduling Tool

With so many social media scheduling tools out there, finding the right one can feel overwhelming. I've tried plenty of them, and Publer is the one I keep coming back to. Here's why.
1. It Makes Building an Evergreen Content Bank Super Easy
This is one of my favourite Publer features and something I teach to many of the 1:1 clients I work with. When I'm creating a new social media post to schedule through Publer, I do a quick sense-check: will this still be relevant in 90 days? If yes, I save it as a draft in Publer first, then schedule it rather than just scheduling it once and forgetting about it.
The magic is that Publer lets you publish or reschedule a draft over and over again without deleting it. So you build up a bank of evergreen posts you can recycle anytime. And honestly? Nobody remembers what you posted three months ago. Recycling content isn't lazy - it's smart marketing! Think about how many times you hear the same radio jingle before it sticks. The same principle applies to your social media messaging.
2. It Integrates Directly with Canva
If you use Canva (and who doesn't?), you know how quickly your downloads folder fills up with social media graphics. Publer's direct Canva integration solves that in two great ways.
First, instead of downloading a design to your computer and then re-uploading it to Publer, you can share it straight from Canva to your Publer media library - it just appears, ready to schedule. Second, you can open Canva from within Publer to whip up a quick graphic on the go. It's a genuine time-saver.
3. It Turns Your Images into a LinkedIn Carousel (PDF Post)
LinkedIn removed its native carousel feature, so the workaround is publishing a multi-page PDF to get that smooth, swipeable format. Publer makes this completely painless: just add your images and tick a box to publish them as a PDF. Done.
Even better: if you've already created an Instagram carousel, you can repurpose it directly for LinkedIn. Select your LinkedIn profile or company page alongside Instagram when scheduling, check the "Post as PDF" box, and you've got two (or three!) posts ready at once. Maximum content, minimum effort.
4. It Creates Clickable Carousel Posts for Facebook
This one is a personal favourite. Publer lets you create a swipeable, multi-image post for Facebook where each image is individually clickable - just like a carousel ad, but organic. Facebook removed this capability for regular posts a while ago, but Publer brings it back.
You can include up to 5 images, and the result looks so much more polished than Facebook's standard multi-image layout. No more stuffing your caption with a list of links.
5. You Can Fully Schedule Threads Posts
When I first wrote about Publer, Threads hadn't yet opened up its API for third-party tools. That's changed! You can now schedule Threads posts directly through Publer, including multi-post Threads (you know the ones that have a long thread of content). One less reason to open the app at a specific time - your Threads content can go out on autopilot.
6. One Post, Multiple Platforms, Different Posting Times
You'd think this would be standard - but it's not. Many schedulers either make you post to all platforms at the same time, or force you to duplicate and reschedule each post separately. Publer lets you create one post, select all your platforms, and then set a different posting time for each one.
So you might share that piece of content on Facebook in the early evening and on LinkedIn first thing in the morning - all from a single draft. It's a small feature that makes a big difference to your workflow.
7. AI Features Built Right In
Rather than flipping between ChatGPT or Claude and your scheduler, Publer has AI tools baked directly into the platform. Stuck on a caption? Start typing and let the AI complete it, or give it a prompt and have it write the whole thing. Need an image? Type a description into the AI image generator and it'll create one for you.
It keeps everything in one place, which is exactly where it should be.
From its Canva integration to recycling evergreen content to built-in AI, Publer genuinely does everything a social media scheduling tool should - and then some. If you've been looking for a scheduler that actually makes your life easier, I'd love for you to give it a try.
